We are seeking a suitably qualified Regional Accounts Manager to oversee and manage business risk related to credit within the Eastern cape Region. The ideal candidate needs to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory legislations, take ownership of all branches within the Region and lead a profitable and sustainable Region which contributes to the overall success of the organisation.
The role will
- Manage, lead, motivate, develop and empower the Credit Team with the Region – thereby retaining a stable team who can deliver business goals.
- Drive above average standards on the debtors’ book of the allocated stores in order to maintain a healthy, profitable business, specifically on cash collection, credit controlling and debtors book management.
- Be able to prove above average credit collection and credit management results.
- Be able to work and perform under pressure.
- Demonstrate effective staff management, motivation and training skills.
- Be able to confidently guide staff in achieving the required standards. Implement action plans and follow up in order to reach targets.
- Be able to set standards and implement collection drives on a regular basis.
- Ensure administrative duties within the Region are in accordance with company guidelines.
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
- A Matric/Grade 12 educational qualification.
- Business related tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years Retail Management Experience preferably in the furniture retail.
- Computer Literate.
- Strong Leadership abilities
- Management abilities – Manage, lead, motivate, develop and empower staff
We require a tough-minded individual who is target driven, thrives on driving performance and is able to juggle customer service with working in a high-pressure retail environment.
This position will require travelling and if needed, to sleep out from time to time.
