Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist
We are seeking a hands-on Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist to plan, create, publish, and measure engaging marketing content across social media, email, and website channels.
This role is ideal for a creative, organized marketer who can take a campaign from concept to completion—including planning, photography or video production, editing, copywriting, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and performance reporting. The successful candidate will create content tailored to consumer, business, trade, and professional audiences while maintaining a consistent and polished brand presence.
Key Responsibilities: Content Planning & Organization
- Maintain and execute a consistent marketing and content calendar across social media, email marketing, promotions, and website campaigns.
- Plan content around seasonal promotions, product launches, showroom events, service offerings, customer needs, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with showroom sales, service, and leadership teams to identify products, services, frequently asked customer questions, project stories, customer insights, and business updates that can be developed into marketing content.
- Monitor social media, email marketing, design, retail, lighting, electrical, home-improvement, and industry trends; recommend practical content and campaign ideas.
- Organize and maintain photo, video, graphic, email, and other digital-content assets for efficient use across campaigns.
- Provide regular analytical reports summarizing campaign activity, content performance, trends, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement.
Social Media Content & Community Management
- Create, curate, edit, schedule, publish, and oversee original content—including images, graphics, videos, short-form video, stories, and live content—for:
- Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Adapt content to the style, audience, and best practices of each platform rather than reposting identical content across channels.
- Write clear, engaging, brand-appropriate copy with relevant calls to action for consumer, business, trade, and professional audiences.
- Coordinate the production of product-focused, educational, inspirational, behind-the-scenes, project-based, and promotional content.
- Monitor comments, direct messages, and audience engagement; respond professionally when appropriate or route inquiries to the showroom, sales, customer-service, or leadership team.
- Help maintain a consistent voice, visual identity, and level of professionalism across all public-facing channels.
Email Marketing
- Plan, build, schedule, and send targeted email marketing campaigns through HubSpot.
- Develop email content for promotions, product launches, showroom events, customer education, services, seasonal campaigns, and business-to-business or trade outreach.
- Write compelling subject lines, headlines, body copy, calls to action, and supporting content appropriate to each audience segment.
- Support audience segmentation and targeted marketing efforts for consumer, business, trade, and prospect audiences.
- Track email performance, including delivery activity, open rates, click-through rates, engagement, and campaign results.
Website & Shopify Support
- Create and coordinate supporting content for campaigns, promotions, featured products, and seasonal initiatives on the Shopify website.
- Assist with publishing or updating campaign-related website content, product highlights, promotional messaging, images, videos, and calls to action.
- Support basic SEO-conscious content practices, including clear page titles, headings, product descriptions, internal links, and keyword-aware copy where applicable.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and report key marketing and content metrics, including:
- Posting frequency and campaign activity
- Views, reach, impressions, engagement, and audience growth
- Video performance and watch activity
- Website clicks and referral traffic
- Email open rates, click-through rates, and engagement
- Leads, inquiries, and other measurable campaign outcomes when available
- Use performance data to identify what is working, improve future content, and recommend practical adjustments to the marketing calendar.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, assets, and content channels simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail, professional communication skills, and sound judgment when representing the company online.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, showroom, service, and leadership teams.
Preferred Qualifications
