Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a forward-thinking Automation QA Engineer with strong Playwright expertise and a GenAI-first development approach. You will leverage AI tools like ChatGPT and Codex to accelerate automation, improve test coverage, and enhance engineering productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Build scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks
- Apply a GenAI-first approach using ChatGPT and Codex to:
- Generate test cases, test data, and edge scenarios
- Auto-generate and optimize test scripts
- Debug failures and analyze logs efficiently
- Assist in code reviews and test improvements
- Collaborate with developers and product teams on test strategies
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Continuously improve QA productivity using AI-driven workflows
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and design patterns
- Experience using ChatGPT or similar GenAI tools in QA/dev workflows
- Exposure to AI coding agents like Codex for test generation or debugging
- Experience in API testing (REST)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience with Git
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Good understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI/GenAI workflows into QA pipelines
- Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Knowledge of performance testing tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure CI/CD (Azure DevOps Pipelines)
- Cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization
- Basic cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
