About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to designated client groups and contributing to, and where appropriate leading projects across multiple business areas. The role supports both UK and international initiatives and works in partnership with business leaders to support employee engagement, motivation and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR interface for assigned client groups, supporting line management on all HR-related matters
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure delivery of consistent and pragmatic HR support
- Provide high-quality advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company policies and employment legislation
- Partner with managers to support employee engagement, performance management, and retention initiatives
- Contribute to and/or lead HR projects, including those with cross-functional and international scope
- Support the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives to meet business objectives
- Ensure a consistent and professional HR service is delivered across the business
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Previous HRBP experience, preferably within a technical matrix organisation, with a good understanding of talent management, recruitment, reward and performance management, employees relations and employee engagement.
- A team player, able to work at all levels, and use own initiative
- CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Ability to be flexible, use initiative and work under pressure.
- Ability to influence, enabling successful delivery of people interventions.
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role,
- Good understanding of UK employment law and have demonstrable experience in handling employee relations issues.
- Demonstrated capability of building effective relationships and facilitating solutions across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with people of all levels.
- Ability to prioritise issues and foresee and manage potential conflicts.
- Excellent computer literacy skills and HR database knowledge
