Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support a DoD program. The candidate will work with the technical lead and development team to maintain and enhance existing Java-based applications in the cloud environment, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing development and modernization efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1 Year IT experience
- Experience with software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Java software design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with web-based applications, client/server applications, or cloud-hosted systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software development concepts and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with common release tracking software (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with basic SQL.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud.
- Knowledge of leveraging AI-assisted development tools, automated code generation, or AI-powered engineering capabilities.
