Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer Operations to oversee the daytoday operations of our network infrastructure The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring maintaining troubleshooting and optimizing network performance while ensuring security and reliability You will work closely with IT teams and vendors to support business operations and resolve networkrelated issues Its 247 support system
Key Responsibilities
Network Monitoring Maintenance
Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds
Ensure uptime and availability of network devices including routers switches firewalls and VPNs
Conduct routine network health checks and preventive maintenance
Troubleshooting Incident Response
Diagnose and resolve network issues related to latency connectivity and security
Provide Level 23 support for networkrelated incidents and escalate as needed
Work with ISPs and vendors to resolve network outages and performance issues
Configure and install network devices including switches firewalls and wireless access points
Implement and maintain VLANs QoS and routing protocols OSPF BGP EIGRP
Manage IP address allocation and DNS configurations
Ensure network security by implementing firewall rules and VPNs
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
Documentation Reporting
Maintain detailed network diagrams configurations and SOPs
Generate network performance reports and incident logs for analysis
Keep records of hardware and software inventory
Collaboration Support
Work with crossfunctional IT teams to support business applications and cloud services
Assist in network capacity planning and upgrade projects
Provide technical guidance to team members and IT support teams
Required Skills Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field or equivalent experience
Knowledge on Palo Alto firewalls is must
Handson experience with Cisco Palo Alto firewalls
Should have strong understanding of rules creation in Palo alto firewalls
3 years of experience in network operations administration or engineering
Strong knowledge of TCPIP routing protocols OSPF BGP and LANWAN concepts
Proficiency in network monitoring tools Wireshark SolarWinds
Familiarity with security protocols firewalls VPNs and wireless networking
Knowledge of SDWAN is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Certifications Preferred
Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA
Palo Alto PCNSAPCNSE
Work Environment
Rotational oncall support may be required
Hybrid or onsite work environment depending on company policy
