Tasks
We support and advise various subsidiaries of the Lufthansa Group on the implementation of legally required occupational safety and fire safety regulations, and develop company-wide minimum standards for fire safety, hazardous materials management, radiation protection, and occupational safety.
Your key responsibilities with us:
- Safety Consulting & Auditing: You will review processes and operational areas for compliance with legal and company requirements
- Fire Safety Expert: You will be responsible for preventive, organizational, and operational fire safety
- Project Management: You will independently manage initiatives and projects through to successful implementation
- Workplace Design: You will provide advice on the design and modification of work equipment, workstations, and workflows
- Hazard Assessment: You will develop measures to prevent hazards and review instructions
- Accident Investigations: You will analyze accidents and hazardous situations and derive improvement measures
- Measurements & Training: You will conduct measurements and lead training sessions and events

Requirements
- A completed (technical) college degree (Dipl.-Ing./Bachelor’s/Master’s)
- Training as a fire safety officer (or a willingness to complete such training)
- Several years of professional experience as a safety engineer in accordance with DGUV V2
- Strong strategic understanding and well-developed analytical and conceptual skills
- Negotiation skills and a confident demeanor
- Team player mentality and strong customer focus
- High level of initiative and commitment
- Very good German and English language skills
- Additional qualifications in radiation protection or explosion protection are a plus
