About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for a strategic and AI-savvy storyteller to reimagine how we create, manage, and scale compelling narratives across the full pursuit journey, from the initial RFP through finalist presentations and deal closing. Combining sharp writing, strategic messaging and process discipline, you'll help our Sales and Customer Success teams tell stronger, buyer-centric stories that communicate Lyra's value.
Sitting within Lyra’s Solution Marketing team, you’ll lead Lyra's proposal content strategy, strengthening the quality and impact of our RFPs. You'll own the messaging foundation within our proposal response platform, while putting emerging AI capabilities into practice to improve first-pass drafting, personalization, and quality.
Beyond proposals, you'll help shape how generative and agentic AI transform content development across Marketing and Sales. Working closely with Product Marketing, Segment and Solution Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, you'll experiment with new technologies and develop smarter, more scalable approaches that improve efficiency and storytelling effectiveness across the full pursuit journey.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex product capabilities, clinical outcomes, and value propositions into compelling, differentiated narratives tailored to buyer needs, segments, and business priorities.
- Apply generative and agentic AI to rethink content workflows, improving how teams discover, draft, personalize, and refine content while reducing manual effort and strengthening response quality.
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies to create more connected, scalable content experiences across the pursuit journey, from market narratives and RFP responses to finalist presentations, ensuring a consistent and compelling story of Lyra's value.
- Own the content strategy, architecture, and quality of Responsive, ensuring our proposal knowledge base reflects Lyra's latest positioning, product capabilities, and proof points. Manage governance and content standards that improve AI retrieval, response accuracy, and overall quality.
- Turn recurring RFP questions, buyer priorities, and content gaps into actionable insights that strengthen Lyra's positioning, connect messaging across the pursuit journey, and more clearly communicate our value to buyers.
- Partner with Proposal Managers, Writers, Product Marketing, Segment and Solution Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to close messaging gaps, establish content validation processes, and develop stronger, reusable narratives across the pursuit journey.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in content strategy, product marketing, solution marketing, proposal content, or a related field, with a strong foundation in positioning, messaging, and persuasive business writing.
- Demonstrated experience applying generative and agentic AI capabilities to content development, with curiosity and enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools, workflows, and approaches.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information, articulate differentiation, and create compelling narratives for business audiences.
- A proactive, experimental mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, challenge existing approaches, and turn new ideas into practical improvements.
- Demonstrated experience both using and managing proposal management platforms such as Responsive, including hands-on ownership of content libraries, knowledge architecture, content governance, and AI-powered response capabilities.
- Strong understanding of the RFP and complex sales process, including how messaging, positioning, buyer priorities, and competitive differentiation influence a pursuit.
- Experience developing and maintaining reusable content that can be adapted for different audiences, segments, and use cases.
- Strong strategic judgment, with the ability to evaluate not only whether content is accurate, but whether it is relevant, persuasive, and effective.
- Ability to translate complex product, technical, or industry information into clear, customer-focused messaging.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to align messaging and content priorities.
- Experience in health care, benefits, or another complex or regulated industry is a plus. As a full-time Content Innovation Manager, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc.
