The Role
We are looking for a sharp, organized Accounts Executive. You’ll handle the day-to-day data entry and play a key role in making sure our annual audits and tax filings go smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Handle full set of accounts, including general ledger, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
- Manage project accounting, including cost tracking and budget monitoring
- Prepare and process progress claims, invoices, and billing to clients
- Verify subcontractor claims and process payments, including retention sums
- Monitor project cash flow and ensure timely collections from clients
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations (e.g., SST)
- Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, and external auditors
- Petty cash handling and reconciliation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based industries
- Must know either development or construction accounts
- Knowledgeable of: E-Invoice implementation and compliance; SST (Sales & Service Tax)
- Proficiency in accounting software (AutoCount)
- Hardworking, responsible, and able to meet deadlines independently
