**About the Role**
The Corporate Communications Advisor acts as trusted, expert, and embedded communications specialist for faculties and offices, aligning stakeholders’ communications needs with broader University priorities.
The role supports internal and external communications across a range of owned and earned channels, working alongside a talented team of supportive communication experts.
**Key Accountabilities**
* Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement communications aligned with local objectives, as well as execute strategic external communications campaigns. * Create engaging content for internal and external audiences that reflects the University’s mission and strategy. * Partner with the Media and External Communications team to secure media placements and develop content. * Work with senior leaders to craft thought leadership communications on key societal and academic issues. * Monitor reputational risks and develop timely communication strategies to address emerging concerns. * Advise on communications best practices to ensure consistency and quality across platforms. * Ensure compliance with EEO and WHS regulations. * Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.

**Selection Criteria:**
* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely across platforms. * Proven experience in the creation of engaging external and internal communications content and products for a wide range of audiences, including strategic communications campaigns and content. * Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, internal and external stakeholders, to deliver high quality outputs, all while managing competing priorities. * Creative and strategic mindset, capable of developing innovative communications approaches.
