Your Contribution
You will drive manufacturing digitalization and automation initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance. You will lead Smart Factory projects, support machine and process improvements, implement IIoT and real-time data solutions, apply AI camera and machine vision technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable manufacturing excellence.
- Lead engineering activities for new products, prototypes, mass production, and customer projects.
- Manage machine investments, capacity expansion, and production line improvements.
- Drive Smart Factory initiatives through automation, IIoT, and digital manufacturing solutions.
- Support AI camera and machine vision applications for quality improvement.
- Implement Poka-Yoke, quick changeover, and process optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Automation Engineering.Experience in machine installation, automation, or production improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Smart Factory, IIoT, PLC, SCADA, or machine vision is an advantage.Basic programming skills (Python, SQL, C#, or PLC) are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Native Thai speaker with strong spoken and written English skills.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Willing to work on-site at MAHLE Engine Components (Thailand) Ltd., Bangchan Industrial Estate, Bangkok.
