Job description :
- Inspect finished glass containers to ensure products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Liaise with superiors and Shift Managers to determine product acceptability.
- Issue memos or emails to the Production team via the Vertech system for products that are out of specification.
- Activate cavity rejection for confirmed non-conforming products and maintain the rejection status until a retest achieves a PASS result.
- Prepare hourly quality reports and conduct packed ware audits and random sampling before the palletiser.
- Report major and critical defects identified during sampling to the Cold End Specialist and QA Supervisor.
- Conduct random inspections of finished goods packaging and ensure proper arrangement of products during production.
- Perform physical bottle top-ups using the correct glass containers from the production line at designated packing locations for loose-packed pallets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirement :
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in Quality is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of quality standards and product inspection procedures.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and analyze product defects accurately.
- Good communication skills to provide feedback to relevant departments.
- Able to work in an environment requiring continuous monitoring and comply with safety procedures and SOPs.
