Senior Data Scientist – Berlin (On-Site)

#### **Your mission**

**This position is on\-site in Berlin!**

As a **Senior** **Data Scientist at mama health**, you’ll sit at the center of our data engine. Working closely with our **Chief AI Officer (CAIO)** and the Data Science team, you’ll turn raw patient stories into actionable insights that power our B2B SaaS Analytics Platform.

#### **Your profile**

You’ll tackle meaningful questions across **health data**, **patient journeys**, and **real\-world evidence**, building models and analyses that help healthcare companies improve chronic care. You’ll also **work directly with renowned global clients**, giving your work immediate visibility and worldwide impact.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Analyze and model large, multi\-modal patient datasets to generate insights on patient journeys and unmet needs. * Work hand\-in\-hand with the Chief AI Officer to develop, validate, and scale algorithms for our Patient Journey Analytics Platform. * Collaborate with engineers and product managers to turn data insights into user\-facing features for our B2B SaaS tool. * Design and implement pipelines for data cleaning, feature engineering, and predictive modeling. * Communicate results clearly to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders, shaping how life science companies make decisions. * Stay up to date with state\-of\-the\-art methods in ML/AI and bring new ideas into our production stack.

**Requirements:*** 3\+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist (preferably in healthtech, SaaS, or related fields). * Proficiency in **Python** (pandas, scikit\-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, or similar ML libraries). * Strong skills in **SQL** and experience working with structured/unstructured data. * Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization. * Ability to work independently on complex problems while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. * Full fluency in English (written and spoken). * Location: either of the following (all other applications will be ignored): + On\-site in **Berlin** * Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

**Nice to Have:*** Experience with real\-world health data (e.g., patient\-reported outcomes, claims, EHR). * Knowledge of NLP and LLM * Knowledge Graph
