Must-haves:
- Bilingual, English and Spanish, at on-camera level: natural, confident delivery in both, and scripts and captions written in both without a translator.
- 3+ years making video content for a brand or business (not only a personal account), with results you can show.
- Has grown at least one channel or format from zero and can show the numbers.
- Comfortable on camera, and comfortable directing people who aren’t.
- Edits end to end in CapCut, Premiere or DaVinci Resolve: hooks, captions, cutdowns, fast turnaround.
- Knows what works on YouTube (long-form and Shorts), Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, and why.
- Canva-level design for statics and thumbnails.
- Reads analytics and changes the plan because of them.
- Runs a calendar, hits deadlines and reports without being asked.
- Available during U.S. Eastern business hours.
This isn’t for you if:
- You want to set the strategy and hand off the making.
- You want the format handed to you instead of finding the ones that work.
- You would rather not be on camera.
- You need a producer, an editor and a designer around you to ship.
- You count success in posts published, not in business results.
- You wait for a brief instead of writing it.
When you apply, include two links. No cover letter; we watch the video first.
- A 60-second video in English, unscripted, shot on your phone, no editing: tell a home-service business owner one thing they can do this week to get more calls from Google Maps.
- Three pieces you made for a brand, with one line each on your role and what it achieved.
Expect a reply within 5 business days.
You own the whole function, from strategy to publish.
- Strategy and ideas. Content pillars, the calendar, and the research that finds winning ideas: what home-service owners watch, what competitors miss, what our clients’ results prove.
- Scripts. Hooks, outlines and talking points in English and Spanish, for yourself and for everyone you put on camera.
- Recording. Your own segments, plus leadership, the team and clients (case studies, testimonials), through a remote-friendly process you design.
- Production and editing. Short-form cuts, long-form YouTube, podcast or webinar episodes, captions and thumbnails, in CapCut, Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.
- Publishing. Posting, scheduling and repurposing across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, plus basic replies to comments.
- Paid creative. Video ads and static graphics for Map Ranking’s own campaigns, briefed with our Google Ads and Meta Ads specialists. Canva and CapCut level is enough.
- Reporting. A monthly content report: what shipped, how the audience moved, and which leads came from content.
How success is measured, first 90 days:
- By day 30: channel audit done, content pillars, formats and a 60-day calendar approved, recording kit and remote workflow in place for the team, first batch published.
- By day 60: hitting the cadence you proposed and we approved (our starting assumption: 5 short videos a week and 4 long-form pieces a month), first paid creative delivered to the ads team, first monthly report sent.
- By day 90: a clear growth trend on the two priority channels, content-attributed leads being tracked, and a recommendation on whether freelance support is needed.
After that, three measures: output (videos shipped per week against the agreed cadence), audience (views, watch time and followers on the priority channels, month over month) and pipeline (leads and booked calls that came from content).
-
Content that sells to small business owners (B2B, agency or SaaS).
-
Familiarity with local SEO, Google Business Profile or home-service businesses.
-
Paid social creative experience: ads that had to perform, not just look good.
-
Motion graphics (After Effects or Premiere templates).
-
Experience creating for the U.S. Hispanic business audience.
-
Compensation: $2,000 USD/month base to start, with a path to $3,000 on performance milestones, plus results-based incentives paid on top of base.
-
Full-time and fully remote, with overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours.
-
You report to the Integrator and own the content function end to end.
-
Authority to bring in a freelance editor or designer once the cadence justifies it.
-
Start: as soon as possible.
