Job Summary:
Marc and Jenssen is seeking a Project Engineer with solid experience in HVAC systems, specifically VRF installation, to oversee the execution of a high-rise project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, on-site coordination, progress monitoring, quality control, and ensuring project delivery within budget, time, and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations related to the VRF system installation for a 14-storey building.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of the installation in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Manage project documentation, site reports, and progress tracking.
- Review and interpret HVAC plans, mechanical drawings, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate delivery of equipment and materials to prevent delays.
- Conduct quality inspections and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other contractors as needed.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and participate in project meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- PRC-licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HVAC project engineering, preferably with VRF systems and high-rise buildings.
- Familiarity with major VRF brands (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to project demands.
- Willing to be assigned full-time to the project site.
