Job Description
The IPS Project-In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day on-site project operations, ensuring that all project activities are completed efficiently, within the agreed timeline, and in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day on-site operations of the project.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive project plans to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including general contractors, trade contractors, construction management, and architects, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead and facilitate on-site coordination and project-related meetings.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure that the quality of materials and workmanship meets the required project standards.
- Manage project budgets and resources to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regular project updates and communicate progress to clients, stakeholders, and management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project team members, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
- At least one (1) year of experience in project management or a related field.
- Good project coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site and oversee project operations.
