We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support business operations and management decision-making through accurate data analysis and reporting.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret business data. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to prepare reports and dashboards that help management monitor business performance and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, organize, and maintain data from different departments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Analyze business, sales, project, and operational data to identify trends and performance gaps.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data summaries using Microsoft Excel.
- Use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts, and formulas to analyze large datasets.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect and validate data.
- Identify discrepancies in data and ensure accuracy and consistency in reports.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks wherever possible.
- Present findings and insights in a clear and structured manner.
- Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of company data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, MIS reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, formulas, and charts.
- Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple reports and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in MIS reporting, sales analysis, project reporting, or business operations.
- Ability to work with large datasets and convert them into meaningful insights.
- A proactive approach to identifying reporting improvements and process efficiencies.
