About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to build, customize, and optimize a high-growth Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing scalable Shopify stores, enhancing customer experience, and integrating business-critical applications to drive online sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus eCommerce websites.
- Build custom Shopify themes, templates, sections, and features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping solutions, CRM, ERP, inventory management, and third-party applications.
- Optimize website performance, page speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Develop and implement new features to improve customer experience and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital marketing, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure website reliability and security.
- Implement analytics, tracking, and marketing integrations such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and other marketing tools.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Stay updated with Shopify platform enhancements and emerging eCommerce technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of overall web development experience, with strong expertise in Shopify development.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, REST APIs, and webhooks.
- Strong experience in custom theme development and third-party app integrations.
- Knowledge of payment gateway integrations and order management workflows.
- Experience with Git, version control, and deployment best practices.
- Understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and other tracking tools.
- Familiarity with React, Vue.js, or headless commerce architecture is an added advantage.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
