Major/Essential Duties of the Job:
- Coordinate and produce all live video streaming for home sporting events at various venues on campus
- Experience with NCAA live stats and Presto stats.
- Assist in keeping statistics, maintaining program records, and tracking statistics for teams.
- Assist in all daily operations of the Sports Information office, working under the Director of Sports Information.
- Assume other projects and duties as assigned and agreed upon by the Sports Information Director and Athletics Director.
- Maintain and oversee athletics media and game day equipment and manage post-event reporting and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate department photography and videography, including headshots, team photos, media day, promo videos, and game day action photos
- Help with creating and managing content (photography, videography, and graphics) for the McMurry Athletics social media portfolio (Instagram, Facebook, X)
- Assist in writing post-game recaps for select sports.
- Assist with the recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision of student workers/assistants.
- Support special athletic events, including the Wally Award ceremony, Jimmy Lee Pierce Golf Classic, and other events as directed by the Athletics Director and Sports Information Director.
Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in sports information, media relations, broadcasting, or a related role.

Proficiency with video and live stream equipment and photography
