Position: Bilingual French Generalist Expert — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $48–$52/hour Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Write expert-level prompts in French across a range of sensitive subject areas.
- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
- Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns. Document the reasoning behind your judgments.
- Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model safety.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in AI model outputs.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native or near-native fluency in French. Business-level written English.
- A Bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.
- Strong written reasoning and high attention to detail.
- Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.
Preferred
- Based in Franceor the wider Western Europeregion.
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
- Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
