Position: Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Expert — Data Centers Type: Contract Compensation: $100–$140/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 5–10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review complex engineering tasks in data-center environments. Focus on cooling, hydronic systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Check engineering assumptions, calculations, and standards. Ensure compliance with codes and equipment data.
- Identify ambiguities and improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and rubrics.
- Validate corrected tasks end to end. Produce clear technical findings.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ yearsof experience in data-centeror mission-critical MEP design.
- Strong command of data-center systemsand relevant codes.
- Ability to interpret large document sets and explain technical issues clearly.
Preferred
- Experience at a leading multidisciplinary or consulting engineering firm.
- PEor recognized commissioning credential.
