Position: Public Policy Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $50–$60/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 15–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Work asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts across your domain.
- Craft policy research tasks involving legislative tracking, federal budget data extraction, and regulatory database searches across government portals.
- Create detailed evaluation rubrics for AI agent performance.
- Collaborate to inform the future of AI innovation with real-world applicability.
- Shape high-quality, challenging problems in your domain expertise.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD or Master's in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration,or related field from a top US/Canada/UK/New Zealand/Australia university.
- Experience with government databases ( OpenStates, FOIA.gov, OMB, federal agency data portals, Congressional Research Service).
- 2+ yearsof professional experience in government, think tanks, policy research, or public sector consulting.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.
Start Date
- Early December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
