Job description: Project Manager
Department: Project Execution / Construction
1. Project Planning & Execution Management
- Lead complete project execution from mobilization to handover.
- Prepare master schedule, micro planning, and milestone targets.
- Ensure timely completion of project as per contract timelines.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress.
- Implement recovery plans against delays.
2. Site Resource & Team Management
- Manage site engineers, supervisors, safety officers, QA/QC, and admin staff.
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently.
- Build disciplined and performance-driven project team.
- Review attendance, productivity, and deployment planning.
3. Quality Management
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and standards.
- Monitor inspections, testing, and quality control systems.
- Minimize rework and defects.
- Ensure snag-free handover.
4. Safety & Compliance Management
- Maintain safe working environment across project site.
- Ensure implementation of safety systems, permits, PPE, toolbox talks, audits.
- Enforce statutory and contractual compliance.
- Drive zero major accident culture.
5. Material Planning & Procurement Coordination
- Approve material requirement planning based on project schedule.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure no delays due to shortage of key materials.
- Monitor storage, consumption, and wastage control.
6. Contractor / Vendor Management
- Finalize deployment plans with subcontractors.
- Monitor vendor progress, quality, billing, and manpower strength.
- Resolve commercial and execution bottlenecks.
- Ensure contractual compliance by agencies.
7. Cost Control & Budget Management
- Control project cost within approved budget.
- Monitor productivity, wastage, variations, and overheads.
- Review running bills and certification.
- Optimize resources without affecting quality.
8. Client / Consultant Coordination
- Represent company in client and consultant meetings.
- Resolve technical and commercial matters proactively.
- Obtain approvals, drawings, decisions, and clearances timely.
- Maintain strong client relationship.
9. Documentation & Reporting
- Review DPR, weekly MIS, monthly progress reports, billing status, risk logs.
- Maintain contractual records, correspondence, delays, variations.
- Ensure proper documentation for claims and final account.
10. Project Completion & Handover
- Ensure testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and handover.
- Coordinate statutory approvals and completion documentation.
- Close contracts and finalize accounts.
- Qualification: -B. Tech (Civil Engineer)
Exp-Min. 4-5 years of Expereience.
Job Location-Exhicon work site:-Sector 83 Alpha Mohali, approximately 8 Km from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport.
