About the Opportunity
Shoreability is recruiting a Junior Marketing Analyst (Growth & Insight) to support the Customer & Commercial team of our UK-based client.
This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone with a strong interest in digital marketing, data analysis and understanding what drives business growth.
We are looking for an analytical, curious and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and turning information into meaningful insights.
The successful candidate will support marketing performance reporting, customer insights and commercial analysis, working collaboratively with marketing, business intelligence and other business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the analysis of marketing and commercial performance to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Analyse customer acquisition, retention, revenue and performance data.
- Develop, update and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Track marketing activities, performance indicators and growth initiatives.
- Assist with analysing digital marketing and PPC performance.
- Work with different data sources to ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and reliable.
- Identify data discrepancies and assist with resolving reporting issues.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations and business insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance and Operations teams to support data-driven decisions.
- Contribute ideas to improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for business growth.
Minimum Requirements (Essential)
- 1–3 years' experience in commercial analysis, marketing analytics, business intelligence or a related analytical role within a consumer-facing or multi-site business.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas and data modelling.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, including building and maintaining reports and dashboards.
- A good understanding of PPC and digital marketing performance.
- Experience using AI tools to assist with reporting, analysis or automation.
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and interpret findings.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to present data and findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Advantageous (Not Essential)
The following would be beneficial but are not required:
- Knowledge of Python or SQL.
- Exposure to CRM systems or marketing performance data.
- Experience in healthcare, dental or other consumer-facing industries.
- Familiarity with marketing return on investment (ROI), return on ad spend (ROAS) or attribution reporting.
- Experience within a high-growth or private equity-backed business.
