**MARS Tours \& Trave**l is a highly recognized and respected group travel company within the Travel \& Tourism Industry catering to other tour operators (B2B) as well as individual tour groups (B2C). We work closely with our clients to develop travel itineraries custom designed to their needs and desires. We maintain strong partnerships with vendors/suppliers to ensure our clients enjoy the best rates and conditions. Client groups range from senior centers, middle schools, performance troops, reunion groups, other tour operators, AAA and other travel clubs and retailers, and sports teams.

At MARS, our **Operations project managers** bring tours to life for our clients. We’re seeking a qualified professional to execute our group tours \- from reservations, to payments, to coordinating itineraries, and managing client communication and satisfaction \- our Operations team is responsible for the successful execution of tours planned by our planning department. Candidates should have exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the ability to juggle many projects at once. This person should also be adept at building relationships with both vendors and customers through strong communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of each tour. Entry\-level candidates are preferred in Northern VA or Chicago, IL.
**Objectives of this Role:**
* Connect with individual clients to successfully operate group tours. * Backwards plan to ensure all deadlines and benchmarks are met for each tour in your pipeline. * Monitor and manage financial outcomes for each project. * Maintain working relationships with existing clients and vendors to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities. * Proactively collaborate with tour planning team, sales team, and operations team to ensure seamless customer experience. * Manage deadlines for numerous proposals at any given time. * Minimal travel may be required 1\-2 times per year.
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
* Ability to Multitask and self\-start. * Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships. * Keen attention to detail; organizational abilities. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem\-solving, presentation, and organizational skills. * Proficiency with CRM platform (Fresh Sales experience is a bonus!). * Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 * Candidate will be highly motivated, self\-starting, and possess high personal integrity.

Pay: $45,000\.00 \- $60,000\.00 per year
