As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Rental Manager to join our Solihull team and play a key role in our continued success.
The Role
You’ll oversee daily rental operations, process vehicle bookings, manage fleet availability, ensure vehicles are in the required condition for rental, coordinate deliveries and collections, and ensure consistently high levels of customer service are achieved. You’ll lead and motivate the team, work closely with our maintenance and administration departments, and provide daily operational reports and updates to management on bookings, fleet utilisation, performance and any issues requiring attention.
The Ideal Candidate
- Essential: Previous experience within the vehicle rental industry.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational, fleet management and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Accurate record-keeping and the ability to produce regular management reports.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for business growth.
