The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will support the Executive Housekeeper in managing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and service standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in planning, organizing, and supervising daily Housekeeping operations.
  • Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the required hotel standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate Housekeeping Team Members, including room attendants, public area attendants, and other assigned personnel.
  • Monitor room status and coordinate closely with Front Office to ensure timely room readiness and efficient guest arrivals.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas and take corrective action where required.
  • Support manpower planning, duty allocation, scheduling, and daily briefing of the Housekeeping team.
  • Assist in training, coaching, and developing Team Members to maintain consistent service standards.
  • Monitor the proper handling, storage, and control of linen, guest supplies, amenities, cleaning materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Housekeeping operations within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
  • Previous experience working with LQA standards will be considered an added advantage.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred.
