KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
Follow the standard operating procedures.
Attend to guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him or her within 10 minutes.
Cleanliness and maintenance of his/her work area.
Report missing / found articles to the housekeeping supervisors.
Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed
Check for items that are not operatable and/or in need of repair and report such items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Ensure health & safety requirements are adhered to, including a personal knowledge of the correct usage of all chemicals used in Housekeeping.
Ensure records are maintained for linen inventory.
Ensure that lost and found articles are processed properly.
Follow and recommend measures to minimize all wastage of materials and amenities, which are used in the department.
Ensuring security awareness throughout the Hotel, reporting incidents to the appropriate Manager when warranted.
Ensure all special requests are met, with reference to families visiting our resorts with children.
Ensures any special requests from guests are carried out and delivered on time exceeding guest’s expectations where possible.
Clean and take care of all working equipment used by himself / herself.
Guest privacy to be maintained at any given point of time. No unauthorized person should be entering to the villa.
Ensure that housekeeping attendant should not misuse any items and supplies. Should be focused towards minimizing departmental cost.
Team should be well presentable when reporting on shift. Well groomed and proper body odour is to be maintained and uniform standards to be strictly followed.
Ensure that team should follow all resort standards.
Deep cleaning, schedule cleaning, extra cleaning should be followed as per superior instruction.
