We produce patent packages for independent inventors: figures and a written description that agree, part for part and numeral for numeral.
$225 per project (up to 6 figures, $30 per additional figure), paid on delivery · 8 to 12 projects per month · Any U.S. time zone · Start immediate
The job is two things
- Figures. Illustrator, plus CAD (Fusion 360 or equivalent) when a concept needs to be resolved into real geometry.
- Write-up. A matching written description, prepared on our house template and ready for attorney review.
What we want
The figures need to meet client expectations on appearance. That's a major deliverable. But the writing also has to match the drawings and be explained in a way that satisfies the patent attorney and USPTO standards.
What you bring
- Portfolio of technical or patent illustration work
- Strong Illustrator skills
- Working CAD proficiency
- Mechanical judgment: you catch mismatched parts, missing numerals, and mechanisms that wouldn't actually work
- Familiarity with 37 CFR 1.84 is a plus. We train the rules, not the judgment.
