More about the Role:
We're looking for an Automation Engineer who loves building things that actually work. You'll be working with Playwright and Python to design and maintain test frameworks that keep our customers' products solid as they scale. No hand-holding — we trust you to own your work, think independently, and bring real energy to the team.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain end-to-end and regression test suites using Playwright + Python
- 2 Years of Leading and building the teams
- Work closely with dev and product teams to design smart test strategies
- Plug automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them green
- Debug test failures fast, find root causes, and fix them for good
- Level up the framework — better reporting, cleaner code, stronger coverage
- Jump into code reviews and raise the bar for the whole team
- Test APIs using requests, httpx, or Postman
What You Bring
- 10+ years years of hands-on automation experience
- Solid Playwright skills (Python bindings preferred)
- Strong Python chops — you write code others enjoy reading
- Good grasp of Page Object Model and test design patterns
- Comfortable with Git, CI/CD workflows, and dev tooling
- You understand how the web works — APIs, browsers, the whole stack
- Sharp debugging instincts and a low tolerance for flaky tests
Bonus Points
- You've used pytest with plugins like allure or pytest-html
- You've dabbled in BDD (Behave, Cucumber)
- Docker for test environments doesn't scare you
- You've explored performance or accessibility testing
- You've used BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
