**Overview:**
Provide customer satisfaction by supporting overall program with primary responsibility for contacting vendors/suppliers to resolve problems, Supplier PPAPs and Audits, IATF 16949, internal quality and customer issues and support, maintaining customer contact, supporting customer assembly plants.
**Principal Accountabilities:**
* Provide support for the pre\-launch of new programs. * Work with internal resources regarding vendor issues. * Coordinate the development of gages/ assembly fixtures for production parts. * Provide Quality Planning support to MSSC parts, processes and Suppliers. * Provide information/data to customer for launch approval. * Maintain on\-going customer contact on quality related issues. * Act as liaison between OEM and MSSC plant for problem resolution. * Adhere to IATF 16949 principles including Advanced Product Quality Planning efforts and maintain documentation. * Participate in joint review of customer returns. * Initiate internal and customer corrective actions, quality alerts, containment and review supplier corrective actions. * Review Supplier PPAPs, Quarterly Capability Studies, Metal Certifications, Quality Certifications. * Negotiate problem accountabilities. Complete all Supplier documentation and tracking. * Exhibit a “do what it takes to get the job done” attitude.
**Qualifications:**
* Four years Quality experience. * Knowledge working with PPAP, FMEA, Control plan and Supplier Development. * 5\-7 years working experience. * Experience working within the automotive field. * Thorough understanding of automotive quality requirements (IATF 16949\). * Experience working with assembly and/or manufacturing processes. * Excellent communication skills (both written and oral). * Experience using statistical analysis for problem resolution and continuous improvement. * Ability to travel and valid passport * Experience as a facilitator of team oriented problem solving. * Able to interpret blueprints with an understanding of GD \& T. * Support all Management staff.
