What Structural Design Engineer will do:
We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer with experience in industry and infrastructure design projects to join our team. In this role, the matched candidate will:
- Preparation of structural designs documents, specifically for:
- Secondary and main steel structures
- Structural steel connections
- Reinforced concrete elements
- Other design briefs, specifications.
- Providing sketches for 3D model and drawing production.
- Doing quality assurance (QA) of design documents, drawings and models; incorporate the QA results for the next round of submissions.
- Close collaboration with clients & other engineering disciplines to provide the best design solutions.
- Attending project meetings as necessary.
- Planning and progressing on your own professional development.
- Other tasks as Project Lead / Manager’s request.
What Structural Design Engineer needs:
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering.
- More than 3 years of experience in structural design and calculations with Eurocodes.
- Strong academic background in reinforced concrete, steel structures, and structural analysis.
- Good communication skills in English (speaking and writing).
- Experience working with aluminum and wood structures is a plus.
- Good understanding of the Finite Element Method.
- Familiar with calculation software such as Autodesk Robot, Idea Statica, MathCad…
- Ability to prepare clear and professional engineering reports.
- Knowledge of Coding / programming ability (e.g. Excel VBA, Python, or similar) is an advantage.
