**About the role**

We are on the hunt for a **Site Engineer** to join our team. **This is temporary / full\-time role for the duration of our Queensland project which will conclude in March 2027\.**
**Key responsibilities:**
* Assist the project manager with project planning and start up activities. * Project delivery to agreed programs, timelines and quality standards. * Assist the project manager and site construction team with preparation, planning and execution of construction activities. * Formation, maintenance and compliance of QA documentation. * Manage project programs/schedules as directed by the project manager. * Preparation of project reporting (daily works, project progress, project costs). * Implement and enforce health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
**This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:**
* Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering civil infrastructure projects * Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent. * Previous experience working on civil infrastructure projects * Demonstrated experience in delivering quality driven projects to defined specifications and standards. * Knowledge of project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project. * Strong knowledge of ground conditions and material handling practices * Previous experience in bulk earthworks preferred * Must have a good understanding of cuts/fill operations, benching, battering and site leveling.
