VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center is looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team!
We are a unique 24-hour hybrid hospital that provides General Practice, Urgent Care, and Emergency services. No two days are exactly alike, and that’s part of what makes working here so rewarding.
Our Client Service Representatives are often the first and last person a client interacts with, which means you play an incredibly important role in creating a positive experience for both our clients and their pets.

What You'll Do
As a CSR, you'll help keep the front of the hospital running smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets with a warm, professional attitude
- Answering a high volume of phone calls and helping clients navigate their pet's care
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Assisting with Emergency, Urgent Care, and General Practice client flow
- Communicating with clients regarding estimates, fees, payments, and hospital policies
- Processing payments and assisting with account questions
- Making follow-up calls and reaching out to prospective clients
- Recommending and assisting clients with products, prescriptions, and preventative care
- Providing general pet-care education, including flea/tick and heartworm prevention
- Maintaining accurate medical records and client information
- Working closely with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow CSRs to provide a seamless client experience
- Keeping the reception area and hospital environment clean, organized, and welcoming
- Helping wherever needed to support the hospital and our patients
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous veterinary, medical, customer service, or hospitality experience (veterinary experience is a plus!)
- Truly enjoys helping people
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Can multitask and prioritize when things get busy
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is comfortable discussing finances and collecting payments
- Can remain compassionate and professional during stressful or emotional situations
- Is willing to learn and grow within the role
- Most importantly, loves animals and wants to make a difference for them and their families
