How you’ll make a difference every day
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Deliver proactive wellness and preventive care, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition guidance, and early-detection laboratory screenings.
- Manage a diverse, active daily appointment schedule with a positive, flexible approach that accommodates walk-ins and urgent patient needs.
- Provide routine dental care, including examinations and cleanings, while educating pet parents on the importance of follow-up oral care.
- Build trusted, lasting relationships with pet parents through clear communication and compassionate support.
- Perform routine surgical procedures with a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records, upholding medical best practices and collaborative hospital protocols. Nurture a team-based veterinary environment, celebrating the vital role every team member plays in delivering exceptional care.
What You Bring
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in Ontario.
- Flexible availability to work a mix of weekdays and evenings.
- A strong dedication to promoting team-based medical practices, partnering closely with our talented RVTs and support team.
- Engaging and empathetic communication skills that build trust with pet parents, colleagues, and the local community.
- Clinical Confidence: Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills, alongside a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care.
