**Role Purpose**
The General Manager oversees the strategic, operational, and financial management of the organisation to ensure high\-quality, person\-centred services are delivered in compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory requirements. The role provides leadership, direction, and governance to ensure the organisation achieves its mission, vision, and strategic goals, while maintaining financial sustainability and service excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
* **Leadership \& Strategy** * Provide strategic leadership to ensure the organisation meets business objectives and growth targets. * Develop and implement the business plan, operational strategies, and policies. * Drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Lead NDIS audit preparation, compliance, and quality assurance processes. * **Governance \& Compliance** * Ensure adherence to NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators, and regulatory requirements. * Maintain effective governance structures, policies, and procedures. * Implement risk management strategies to protect participants and the organisation’s integrity. * Oversee incident management, safeguarding, and complaints resolution processes. * **Financial \& Business Management** * Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure to ensure financial sustainability. * Identify and pursue growth opportunities, funding streams, and revenue diversification. * Monitor operational efficiency, ensuring cost\-effective service delivery. * **Service Delivery \& Quality Assurance** * Ensure participants receive high\-quality, person\-centred services. * Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure continuous service improvement. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback from participants, families, and stakeholders. * **Workforce \& Organisational Development** * Lead and mentor managers, team leaders, and staff, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline. * Oversee recruitment, induction, performance management, and workforce development. * Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and staff well\-being. * **Stakeholder \& Community Engagement** * Build and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders, including NDIS Commission, government bodies, allied health professionals, and community organisations. * Represent the organisation in sector meetings, industry events, and advocacy initiatives.
**Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)**
* Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and organisational policies. * Promote a safe and inclusive workplace for staff and participants. * Oversee risk management processes to ensure a safe service environment.
**NDIS Worker Screening Check**
The NDIS Worker Screening Check is required for all employees in key personnel roles that involve responsibility for NDIS participants, governance, compliance, and service quality.

**Key Selection Criteria**
**Essential:**
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in disability, health, or community services. * Strong understanding of the NDIS, including Practice Standards, compliance, and governance. * Demonstrated financial and business acumen, with experience managing budgets and financial sustainability. * Exceptional strategic planning and decision\-making skills. * Strong leadership and workforce management capabilities. * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * Experience in risk management, safeguarding, and quality improvement. * Excellent problem\-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
**Desirable:**
* Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Management, Disability Services, or a related field. * Previous experience in an NDIS provider or allied health service. * Strong understanding of workforce planning, training, and professional development. * Experience in organisational growth and business development.
