Nature's Way Farms is one of the largest tropical landscape shrub and ornamental plant growers in South Florida. For more than 40 years, we have cultivated premium\-quality plants across hundreds of acres, supplying garden centers and major national retailers throughout the United States.
We are seeking a motivated and organized Agricultural Assistant Operations Manager to support the daily operations of our agricultural production facility. This role is responsible for coordinating daily work activities, supervising operational teams, monitoring crop production and plant movements, maintaining accurate inventory and operational records, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands\-on leader with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing agricultural operations while supporting supervisors and farm teams.
What You'll Do
* Coordinate daily work schedules and assign labor to meet production goals. * Support and work closely with supervisors and department leaders. * Monitor daily operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity standards are met. * Track plant production, spacing, shipping, and transfers between locations. * Maintain inventory of operational supplies and keep accurate production and inventory records. * Prepare daily and weekly operational reports. * Coach and support team members to promote continuous improvement. * Help maintain a safe, organized workplace and ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in agriculture, horticulture, nursery, greenhouse, or farming operations preferred. * Previous leadership or supervisory experience. * Strong organizational, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment. * Experience with inventory management and production reporting is an asset. * Basic Microsoft Office skills is helpful * Valid driver's license that meets our insurance requirements.
