Our central IT team in Germany relies on you as the IT Champion on site, keeping day-to-day IT running at our Zurich office of around 100 people: M365-connected Windows and Mac devices, AD-joined Linux clients, peripherals, printers, and local enterprise networking. When something needs deeper expertise, our well-staffed IT team in Riederich is there to back you up with 2nd- and 3rd-level support – you're the one who spots problems early, fixes what you can, and escalates the rest with the right context.
Your mission & challenges
-
Single Point of Contact: Be the go-to person for IT at NEURA's Zurich office – approachable, visible, and quick to respond when something breaks.
-
Windows, Mac & M365: Keep M365-connected Windows and Mac devices healthy – provisioning, basic Intune/Entra ID tasks, updates, and everyday troubleshooting.
-
Linux: Support AD-joined Linux devices, from routine domain and access issues to basic diagnostics.
-
Peripherals & Printers: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot peripherals and printers across the site.
-
Local Networking: Monitor and troubleshoot the site's enterprise network – connectivity, WLAN, and switch-level issues – and recognise when a problem needs specialist attention.
-
Smart Escalation: Judge confidently what's yours to fix and what belongs with the central team's 2nd/3rd-level support in Riederich – and hand it over with the right context.
-
Device & User Lifecycle: Handle onboarding and offboarding locally, keep devices ready-to-deploy, and maintain accurate records.
-
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with local vendors and service providers for hardware, networking equipment, and printer maintenance.
-
Process & Documentation: Follow and help refine central IT processes rather than building local workarounds; document recurring issues so Riederich can act on patterns.
