As Purchasing Group Lead, you will take ownership of a defined purchasing category, leading your team with a strong focus on performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your mission Lead a purchasing team, both functionally and disciplinarily Own operational and strategic procurement within your assigned category Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies Identify, evaluate, and develop national and international suppliers Lead price, contract, and commercial negotiations Ensure supply availability, quality, and cost optimization Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Finance Build scalable procurement processes and KPI-based performance management Support make-or-buy decisions and manage supply chain risks Foster the development and growth of your team What you bring Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in a technical or industrial environment First or solid leadership experience Experience with complex supplier structures and international sourcing markets Strong negotiation skills combined with analytical and business-oriented thinking Structured, solution-oriented working style with a hands-on mindset Strong communication skills and ability to align multiple stakeholders Fluent in German and English Nice to have Experience in robotics, automotive, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing environments Knowledge of ERP systems and data-driven procurement controlling Experience in building or scaling procurement organizations in growing companies
