Role Description

As a React Native Developer Intern, you will design and develop performant, accessible mobile interfaces for our AI-powered learning products across iOS and Android. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build and ship scalable, high-quality mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, high-performance mobile UIs using React Native, with a strong focus on accessibility and user experience.
• Contribute to mobile app architecture alongside Tech Leads.
• Integrate backend APIs and manage complex state and user interactions across the app.
• Handle native module integration and platform-specific behavior for iOS and Android.
• Participate in automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and CI workflows.
• Suggest improvements in technologies, libraries, and code quality.
• Work in an agile setup with UX/UI, backend, and product teams.
• Participate in NeuraMach.AI’s mobile engineering initiatives: code reviews, tech discussions, and knowledge sharing.

Our stack includes React Native, with backend in Node.js and FastAPI. Knowledge of React.js/Next.js is a plus for cross-platform/web-adjacent work.

Experience and Required Skills

Professional Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience with React Native on production-level or published mobile applications.
• Proven work on React Native projects, ideally with apps published on Play Store/App Store.
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in React Native and its ecosystem (Hooks, React Navigation, Redux/Zustand/Recoil, Context API).
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.
• Experience with native module integration and platform-specific configurations (iOS/Android).
• Good practices in state management, side effects, and component lifecycle.
• Experience with Jest, React Native Testing Library, or Detox.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and mobile UX principles.
• Familiarity with build tools and CI pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, EAS Build).
• Bonus: Knowledge of React.js/Next.js, native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
