This is how you make impact

As a Cable Assembly Technician, you work on both mechanical and electrical aspects. You're responsible for building (complex) cables from start to finish. Your work is at the heart of our organization, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas for solving problems and suggesting improvements.

This is what we offer

A challenging role with responsibility and variety in a dynamic high-tech environment. You’ll join an organization that values people and personal contact. We believe in continuous development and offer plenty of opportunities for personal growth and individual initiative. You’ll work in a diverse, dedicated team with a pleasant and open work atmosphere.

You can also count on:

  • 27 vacation days plus 13 additional ADV days

  • An attractive bike plan

  • Flexible working hours

  • A solid pension scheme, holiday allowance, and travel expense reimbursement

This is what you bring to the team

You have a passion for technology and enjoy working on precise assembly tasks. You stay focused even when things get complex, like to think along, and take initiative when you see room for improvement. You’re detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and a strong team player.

We’re also looking for:

  • At least a completed MBO level 3 education in a technical field and/or substantial work experience in a technical environment — preferably in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, electrical engineering, aircraft maintenance, mechatronics, or a comparable field. (We also encourage you to apply if you have a different educational background but sufficient technical experience.)

  • Experience in reading technical drawings and schematics.

  • Good command of either the Dutch or English language.

  • Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Independently assembling, modifying, and inspecting (complex) cables based on technical drawings.

  • Assembling various types of cables, including cutting, connecting wires, and attaching different types of connectors.

  • Ensuring that cables meet high-quality standards, as they are used in, among others, defense equipment, vehicles, and high-tech machines from ASML.

  • Translating technical customer specifications into a complete and accurate end product, using TPD (Technical Product Documentation).

  • Working both inside and outside a Grade 2-class cleanroom.

  • Participating in project teams to analyze and solve issues.

  • Assembling prototypes and small series.
