Your contribution

As an Engineer, OT Network, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient Operational Technology (OT) network infrastructure that supports critical industrial operations and enables the convergence of IT and OT environments. You will help ensure reliable connectivity, cybersecurity, asset visibility, and integration with emerging technologies such as edge computing, AI, and cloud platforms.

As part of our team, you will

  • Maintain accurate inventories of OT assets and support identity and access management processes.
  • Enable and administer secure remote access solutions for OT environments.
  • Support configuration management and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Monitor asset performance and reliability to help reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collect, store, and visualize operational data to support informed decision-making and process optimization.
  • Support OT network infrastructure projects from planning through execution.
  • Partner with IT, OT, cybersecurity, maintenance, operations, and site leadership teams to resolve issues and drive project success.
  • Follow structured change management processes to ensure successful implementation of network initiatives.

Prerequisites for your success in this role

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in network engineering, OT networking, industrial infrastructure, or related technical environments.
  • Experience with industrial control system architectures such as Rockwell Automation, Schneider Modicon, Yokogawa Centum, or Emerson DeltaV.
  • Knowledge of OT/industrial LAN environments, network security principles, and network infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial network environments.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring, performance optimization, auditing, testing, and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity controls, access management, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, or natural resources experience is highly desirable.

Your work environment

You will work within a global technology organization supporting critical operational environments. This role collaborates closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, maintenance, analytics, and site leadership teams. Travel to operational sites may be required to support network deployments, maintenance activities, and infrastructure projects. Flexibility to support maintenance windows and critical incidents outside standard business hours may occasionally be needed.
