About Nexa Consultancy
Nexa Consultancy (thenexaconsultancy.com) is hiring an experienced full stack developer to build and maintain the internal technology that runs our business. This is a fully work-from-home role open to candidates anywhere in India.
This is a hands-on developer role. You will own our internal tools end to end: dashboards, automations, AI agents and our CRM. We are a small team, so you will work directly with the founder and see what you build get used the same week.
We provide the Claude AI subscription. You do not need to write everything from scratch, because Claude handles most of the code. What we need is someone with the judgment to direct it well, test what it produces, catch the mistakes, and keep working until the thing actually functions properly.
Experience required
We are looking for a working developer, not someone starting out. 3+ years of professional software development experience is strongly preferred. If your only experience is coursework, internships or personal projects, this role is not the right fit and we will not be able to progress your application.
Shift and working hours
This is a night shift role. Working hours are 12:30 AM to 8:30 AM IST, aligned to US Pacific business hours. During Canadian winter, from November to March, the shift moves one hour later, to 1:30 AM to 9:30 AM IST. Please apply only if you can work these hours consistently.
What you will do
- Build and improve internal dashboards used by non-technical staff, using Claude AI
- Build AI agents and automations that handle repetitive work
- Create automated boards and internal reporting tools
- Look after our GoHighLevel CRM day to day: workflows, pipelines, forms, calendars and automations. It is already set up, so this is maintenance and improvement rather than building from zero
- Fix whatever breaks. You are the person we come to when something technical needs sorting
- Test everything you build and fix what does not work before handing it over
- General internal tooling as new needs come up
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferred. You should have shipped software that real users depended on
- Full stack capability. Comfortable on both front end and back end, and able to work across a whole feature rather than one layer of it
- Solid programming fundamentals. You can read unfamiliar code and understand what it does
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and APIs. Backend and database experience is important
- You have genuinely used AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Cursor to build something real, not just to ask questions
- The ability to tell when the AI has produced something wrong. This matters more to us than any qualification. Anyone can paste what Claude gives them. We need someone who tests it, notices when it is broken, and fixes it before saying it is done
- Able to work independently and figure things out without being managed closely
- Good spoken and written English, and fluent Hindi
- Your own laptop and a reliable wifi connection. This is a hard requirement for a remote role
- Able to genuinely commit to the night shift long term
Bonus points
- Experience with GoHighLevel. For this role that is a real advantage
- Python
- Zapier, Make or n8n
- Experience building with LLM APIs, RAG or AI agents
- Experience working with US or Canadian teams

- TECHNICAL Q1: An API endpoint in production used to return in 200ms and now takes 8 seconds. The database has not grown significantly and no new code was deployed. List, in the order you would actually check them, the first five things you would investigate, and say what you would expect to see in each case. Answer from real experience.
