**Job Title: Civil Engineer – Factory Building Maintenance**
**Location:** Gurugram **Department:** Engineering / Maintenance **Reporting To:** Maintenance Manager / Plant Head
**Profile Summary**
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of factory buildings and infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and efficient functioning of all civil works within the manufacturing facility.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of factory buildings, offices, drains, and other civil structures. * Conduct regular inspections of buildings and infrastructure to identify repair and maintenance requirements. * Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of civil maintenance activities. * Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments for civil repair and renovation projects. * Monitor construction, renovation, and modification works within the factory premises. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies. * Prepare cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and project budgets for maintenance and civil works. * Verify contractor bills and maintain records of maintenance activities. * Monitor material consumption and ensure optimum utilization of resources. * Address emergency maintenance issues and provide technical solutions. * Maintain documentation related to drawings, maintenance records, and project reports.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering. * 3–8 years of experience in factory, industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance. * Knowledge of building maintenance, structural repairs, waterproofing, flooring, and infrastructure maintenance. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools. * Understanding of safety regulations and industrial maintenance practices.
