Job Overview
Lalwani Ferro Alloys Limited, a company engaged in the manufacturing and trading of ferro alloys, is looking for a CA Inter candidate to join its Accounts and Finance team at its Park Street, Kolkata office.
The selected candidate will assist with accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit-related activities. This role is suitable for candidates who have a sound understanding of accounting principles and are interested in developing their expertise in finance and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and supporting the preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare stock statements, inventory reports, expense summaries, and other financial records.
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Prepare MIS reports and assist with budgeting and variance analysis.
- Assist with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable tax-related activities.
- Support the preparation of tax returns, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants regarding accounting and taxation matters.
- Assist with ROC filings and other statutory documentation, as applicable.
- Provide documentation and data support for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain records related to applicable statutory requirements, including Professional Tax, PF, ESIC, and Gratuity.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and adherence to internal accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with the accounts team to complete assigned tasks within stipulated timelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- CA Inter qualification is required.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of relevant experience may apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting is essential.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance will be beneficial.
- Exposure to manufacturing or trading operations is preferred.
Required Skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Basic knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, and good organizational abilities.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with the finance team.
Compensation and Work Location
- Monthly Salary: ₹40,000–₹50,000, depending on suitability and experience.
- Location: Park Street, Kolkata.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
