Financial / Risk / Quant Analyst — Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Monitor equity, index, and derivatives markets and identify key market risks and opportunities.
- Analyze Nifty 50 and other financial instruments using historical and real-time market data.
- Conduct quantitative analysis of trading strategies, including backtesting and performance evaluation.
- Monitor portfolio exposure, volatility, drawdowns, leverage, and overall risk.
- Analyze options using Greeks such as Delta, Gamma, Theta, and Vega.
- Evaluate option-chain data, implied volatility, open interest, and market positioning.
- Perform scenario analysis and stress testing to estimate portfolio performance under different market conditions.
- Calculate and monitor risk metrics such as Value at Risk (VaR), expected loss, maximum drawdown, and risk-adjusted returns.
- Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, dashboards, and risk reports.
- Track daily P&L and compare actual performance against expected strategy performance.
- Research macroeconomic indicators, FII/DII activity, interest rates, volatility, and other factors affecting financial markets.
- Identify potential risks in existing trading strategies and recommend appropriate hedging or position-sizing adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records of trades, assumptions, models, and research findings.
- Prepare daily and weekly market-risk reports for management/investors.
- Continuously research new quantitative strategies and evaluate their risk/reward characteristics.
- Assist in developing systematic, data-driven trading and portfolio-management frameworks.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
