Enterprise Architect
Location – Parramatta
Employment type – Ongoing full-time, 35 hours per week
Grade – Clerk Grade 11/12
Salary – $154,231 pa - $178,369 pa plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
The Enterprise Architect facilitates business and IT alignment across DCJ, engaging divisional business and technical representatives across investment, risk, and asset management concerns.
This role also promotes effective and pragmatic decisioning within technology governance forums.
The Enterprise Architect supports the implementation of the IT strategy and the development of target state roadmaps and defines architectural standards and processes that are focused on leveraging consistent, standardised and sustainable solutions that support effective and efficient delivery of the department’s ICT objectives that are in alignment, and linked to the business mission and strategy.
What you’ll do
Lead the development and governance of enterprise architecture to support DCJ's strategic objectives by:
Developing and maintaining enterprise architecture roadmaps, standards and frameworks.
Providing strategic advice on technology investments, initiatives and priorities.
Leading architecture governance and compliance processes for new and changing services.
Supporting solution architects and technical teams to align delivery with enterprise architecture outcomes.
Assessing architectural, operational and strategic impacts of emerging technologies, policies and standards.
Influencing decision-making across business, delivery, risk and governance forums.
What we’re looking for
We're seeking a strategic Enterprise Architect who can align technology investments with business outcomes and influence organisation-wide decision-making.
Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT governance and strategic technology planning.
Proven ability to develop enterprise roadmaps, architectures and standards.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including partnering with senior leaders.
Ability to navigate complex environments and balance business, risk and technology considerations.
Experience leading architecture governance and providing strategic advice across major initiatives.
Business-focused with the ability to translate strategy into practical outcomes.
