Join the Team

As a Principal Business Analyst of our Cloud and Enterprise Infrastructure Services team, you will be responsible for leading business analysis activities across a range of strategic technology initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project delivery partners.

The role provides an opportunity to contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, from business case development and procurement through to service design, implementation, testing, transition and benefits realisation. You will help ensure technology solutions are designed, delivered and governed in a way that supports reliable, secure and customer-focused infrastructure services for NSW Health.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead business and functional analysis activities to translate strategic, operational and technical requirements into clear and actionable outcomes.
  • Drive service definition and service design activities, helping establish service offerings, operating models, service catalogues, support arrangements and customer experience outcomes.
  • Support major procurement and commercial initiatives, including requirements development, market engagement, evaluation criteria, business cases and vendor assessments
  • Facilitate business process mapping and process improvement activities, identifying opportunities to streamline services, improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a motivated self-starter with a passion for problem solving
  • Brings expertise in business, functional and technical analysis within complex ICT or enterprise service environments.
  • Proven experience in procurement support, commercial evaluation and business case development as well as process modelling, workflow analysis and service design.
  • Comfortable managing senior stakeholder relationships and facilitating workshops.
  • Produces high-quality documentation and executive-level reporting
  • Has experience working in an agile/scrum/product environment
