**Primary objective**

Provide high quality project management of Aboriginal leadership development and engagement across the Territory for the

Aboriginal Partnerships and Reform business unit to support delivery on Government’s significant Aboriginal Affairs agenda.

**Key duties and responsibilities**

1\. Provide research and program support to Aboriginal Partnerships and Reform on a range of Aboriginal Affairs priority

projects.

2\. Assist with the development, implementation and coordination of projects and policy.

3\. Develop and maintain productive working relationships across agencies and with key stakeholders.

4\. Coordinate and manage the Aboriginal Partnerships and Reform representation and activities across the regions,

including communities and key stakeholder forums.

5\. Coordinate the preparation and review of project/program reports, briefings and correspondence, including Ministerial

Briefings, presentations and other relevant business unit communication materials for internal and external purposes.

**Selection criteria**

**Essential**

1\. Demonstrated experience in project management and policy development.

2\. High level research and analytical skills.

3\. Highly developed written and oral communication skills.

4\. Highly developed organisational skills, with demonstrated sound judgement in responding to changing situations and

circumstances, setting priorities, meeting deadlines and producing work of a high standard both individually and as a

team member.

5\. Well\-developed interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

6\. An ability to liaise and work effectively with people of diverse cultures and at all levels.

**Desirable**

1\. Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.
