**About the Opportunity**

The Project Manager keeps Oat Foundry's engineering projects organized, visible, and moving. You'll build and maintain project plans in ClickUp, run stand\-ups and weekly project reviews, track budgets and hours, and make sure the right information reaches the right people.

This role partners daily with Oat Foundry's President, who oversees the engineering team and leads product direction. You own the plan, the schedule, and the flow of information. You won't direct engineers and our engineering contractors; you'll map their tasks and leverage their skills. The job is to understand what each person needs to finish a task, get it to them, and keep the whole project honest about where it actually stands.

This is a full time, at\-will position, based in Philadelphia at Oat Foundry's HQ. This role reports to Oat Foundry's President. This position comes with a base salary and benefits including Unlimited PTO, Health Care, 401(k), Parental Leave, Profit Sharing, and more.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:**

Project Planning \& Execution:

* Create and maintain project plans in ClickUp, including milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation * Develop and track department and project specific budgets, including materials and external resources * Run stand\-ups and regular project reviews with the engineering team and broader cross departmental new product team as needed * Identify risks early, escalate them clearly, and keep mitigation plans current * Drive projects to completion by finding what each contributor needs to finish their task and clearing the way

Facilitation \& Communication:

* Coordinate development work across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines * Facilitate effective meetings with well maintained agendas, minutes, and follow ups * Keep operations, sales, and marketing informed of what is coming, what changed, and what is needed from them * Prepare handoffs so nothing marked "done" in engineering surprises another department * Surface honest, current project status to leadership, including when the news is bad

Documentation \& Reporting:

* Maintain project documentation: timelines, budget tracking, and purchase reconciliation with finance * Own the cadence and completeness of engineering process documentation, with engineers responsible for content * Maintain dashboard that show estimate versus actual, so leadership and engineers see the same reality * Run leadership reporting and document lessons learned from completed projects * Maintain organization and digital cleanliness of Engineering project filesystems and tools

Process Stewardship:

* Maintain adherence to Oat Foundry’s New Product Development Process * Highlight areas of continuous improvement of process; work with proper parties to improve templates and procedures where they remove friction, and retire them where they don't * Maintain cross\-departmental transparency of project status * Conducting early stage NPD decision making workflows

**You will need:**

* A track record of delivering projects with physical deliverables (manufacturing, construction, fabrication, events, or similar) * 3\+ years of project management experience * A bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent experience * Demonstrated mastery of at least one project management platform, and genuine enthusiasm for becoming a ClickUp power user. A hands\-on skills assessment is part of our interview process * Enough technical fluency to follow an engineering conversation and ask good questions * Exceptional organization and time management * Excellent verbal and written communication * A positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm

**Key Performance Indicators:**

* Hours Forecast accuracy: estimates versus actuals are tracked, reported, and improving * Reporting reliability: dashboards and leadership reports are current and accurate, reviewed weekly * Documentation health: project and process documentation is complete and up to date * Communication: no department is surprised during a handoff * Backlog progress according to plan * Engineering hour splits according to plan

* Experience with product development * Experience with product manufacturing environments * Experience working alongside engineers or skilled trades * Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel fluency * Data processing and visualization * PMP or similar certification

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: $70,000\.00 \- $90,000\.00 per year
